What are the rules of this game?

The rules are quite simple. The main page shows one question at a time, which changes every 10 minutes. Players can answer each question and then add a question of their own to the queue of questions (if there is an available slot). Basically - that's all you have to do.

How can I answer a question?

You need to be registered and logged-in in order to play. If you can't stay logged in, please make sure that your browser is set to accept cookies.

How do I add a question?

Once you answer a question, you will be taken to your account page. In this page you will be prompted to add a new question, if there is an available slot for it in the queue.

How is the score calculated?

Players get 5 points for each correct answer, 5 point for each question added and 10 points for referring a new member.

Can you lose points?

Yes. You can lose points if you add a question that is blatanly not within the questions guidelines. If we think that a question is too hard or too easy, we may not use it, but you won't lose points for submitting it.

So what are the guidelines?

Well, basically you need to come up with logical factual questions that are common knowledge. It's ok if they are hard, as long as people can research for them and find the answer. A few more points -

Questions need to have one single answer that everyone agrees to. Don't ask "What is the color of the sea?" and give Aqua, blue and grey as possible answers.

Questions can't be about opinions, yours or other people's. Don't ask "what is your favorite color?", "what is the most beautiful color?" and certainly don't ask "what is my favorite color?".

Questions must never ever contain obscenities or have any adult-related flavor to them! This is a family site and any such question will be deleted and a penality will be applied to the player's score. We may even disable the account altogether if it's real bad.

Where can I see my score?

You can see your score by visiting your account page, or by checking out the ladder (if you are in one of the first places).

Why isn't my score up to date?

The system updates your score every 10 minutes. If you just answered a question or added one, you may not see your added points right away. Check again within 10 minutes.

Where are my points? I've been playing for the past few days and suddenly my points have been deleted!

When a round finishes, everyone's score is reset back to zero for the next round. If you don't see your points, that means the round you played has been finished. Right now rounds last a week each. Check out the main page for the last round's winner.
